Spondylolisthesis Treatment in Naples, FL
Care for Vertebral Slippage and Instability
Spondylolisthesis occurs when one vertebra slips forward in relation to another. This change in alignment can contribute to back pain, radiating leg pain, numbness, weakness, walking difficulty, or nerve compression.
Treatment depends on the degree of slippage, spinal stability, neurologic symptoms, imaging findings, and how symptoms affect daily life. Some patients may benefit from non-surgical care, while others may need decompression to relieve nerve pressure or spinal fusion to stabilize the spine.
Treatment Planning for Spondylolisthesis
Your evaluation includes a review of spinal alignment, stability, symptoms, neurologic findings, MRI, CT, X-ray, or other relevant imaging, along with prior treatment and overall health.
For selected patients, minimally invasive techniques may help address nerve compression while preserving surrounding muscle attachments and limiting tissue disruption. When instability or slippage is more significant, spinal fusion may be considered to stabilize the affected area. The surgical plan is based on the condition being treated, the need for decompression, anatomy, and individual treatment goals.

What Our Customers Say
Stephen foreman
“I had an excellent experience. Amanda did a fabulous job removing my Cysts. The office staff does a great job, they answered the phone every time I called. That’s unusual in today’s environment. The hospital was great as well. The nurses were professional and made me comfortable. “
Susan Luther
“From the first appointment to surgery to post op was treated very respectfully Everything went very smoothly Would highly recommend Dr Sacino and her team”
Ron Jones
“Apex Brain and Spine was a Godsend. I had been in pain for close to a year before I was diagnosed and had success. After 1 x-ray, 2MRI’s, chiropractic visits, acupuncture, and 6 epidurals, I was finally able to get relief from Dr. Sacino. Everyone had been trying to treat the symptoms , and not the origin of my pain. After robotic surgery I am now on the road to recovery. I highly recommend Apex Brain and Spine.”
Kevin Hughes
“Doctor Sacino of Apex Brain and Spine did an incredible job of relieving my back/hip pain with robotic surgery techniques. Wonderful, professional, considerate and caring Doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Sacino to anyone suffering any type of spine issues. You won’t be disappointed.”
Paula P
“Dr Sacino is AMAZING! I saw her for the first time last year and despite what other doctors had stated she ordered a repeat MRI at another facility and had another team of radiologists read it. It was all panic for nothing. Her training and knowledge is superb! Saw her again this week a year later and all is well. Yes, she is a surgeon, but not one pushing surgery. Look no further than Dr Sacino! Oh, and her office is absolutely beautiful too!”
